A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Nice to meet you, I'm Jena McLaughlin, a Certified Personal Trainer and Pre- & Postnatal Coaching Specialist. I offer 1-on-1 personal training, small group training and baby wearing fitness classes in Essex County, NJ. My goal and passion is to help women who are thinking of becoming pregnant, are currently pregnant, or who just became a mama, feel as strong, confident and empowered in their bodies as possible through fitness.

Mama Moves began while I was pregnant with my second child and out of frustration for not being able to find a fitness program that was both safe for pregnancy and challenging. So much out there suggests yoga and walking as the only fitness options when you're pregnant. But I love a good sweat and lifting weights so when I couldn't find anything that satisfied that, I received my certifications so that I can help other women on their fitness journeys through motherhood.

Maintaining a fitness routine during my second and third pregnancies not only gave me the energy to keep up with my toddlers, but led to a smoother pregnancy, quick delivery and shorter recovery. I want to help you understand and enjoy the benefits of exercise during and after pregnancy so let's get moving!
